Camera shake, we’ve all experienced it as we look back at any our own video camera footages, and we spend hours of our time trying to eliminate camera shakes from with post-production software. You can use hardware solutions such as the use of a gimbal to minimize camera shakes at the time of shooting, with brands such as FeiYu leading the way with this tech, but what about having the solution within the camera itself? Sony’s action cams which some anti-vibration functions, but it doesn’t really iron out most of the camera shakes.
Over at Indiegogo, there’s a nice little project named Revl Arc that wants to address camera shakes at the source: within the action cam itself. The Revl Arc is an action cam that can shoot up to 4K, and has a stabilizing gimbal built into it.
Another surprise to the Revl Arc’s features is that out of the box, without the need for an external enclosure, it is waterproof in up to 3 meters of water.
With a stated retail price of USD$499.00, this wake up its competitors when you start to factor in having to purchase an external gimbal as well.
