If you don’t own Diablo 3 but you are considering getting into, you’re in luck because it seems that Blizzard will be saving you quite a bit of money as they have recently launched the Diablo 3 Battle Chest. For those unfamiliar, Battle Chests are basically Blizzard’s way of bundling old games with their expansions and selling it for cheaper.
We’ve seen this done with the StarCraft games, the World of Warcraft games, so we guess for it to come to the Diablo 3 title shouldn’t be a surprise. According to Blizzard, “This holiday season, gather your friends and prepare for the defense of the mortal realms . . . the Diablo III PC Battle Chest is available now at a new low price of $29.99! The Battle Chest includes both Diablo III and the Reaper of Souls expansion, together at last in one definitive volume.”
The Battle Chest will contain both the game and the Reaper of Souls expansion and it will only set you back $30, a pretty good price considering you’re saving yourself quite a bit compared to if you were to buy the games individually back in the day. Unfortunately the bundle does not include the Necromancer class which was announced at BlizzCon 2016 and is expected to be made available next year and sold separately.
Gamers will still be able to take part in the Darkening of Tristram event which is expected to kick off in January and will be an annual event. If you’d like to get your hands on the game, head on over to the Battle.net store for the details.
