You can’t deny it … Capcom’s Street Fighter series is arguably the best beat-em-up ever. And with the latest Street Fighter V offline update, the game turns in to a full story mode. Thank you Capcom!
“If you felt a bit underwhelmed by Street Fighter 5’s offline content offerings, Capcom has heard you loud and clear.
Revisiting and interview that Yoshinori Ono did with Game Informer magazine, Capcom reiterated that they haven’t forgotten about the single player content, and Ono expresses that the story expansion coming in June — and other updates — will deliver a more robust offline experience that fans have been requesting.
“Additionally, we’re looking into adding a versus CPU mode, and more new unannounced gameplay content for offline players that will be made available for free throughout 2016 and beyond,” said Ono.
Although Capcom made it clear there’s more coming in the future, they also acknowledged that fans were disappointed with what launched in February 2016.
“We were so excited to get the game in the hands of our fans, and we did our best to include as much content as we could for the February launch, but obviously some players expected more,” stated Ono.
“For those fans, all we can say is that we’re working hard to address the concerns that have been voiced, and we have huge plans in place for regular game updates that will contain enhancements and new content additions,” he said.”
