The latest 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Mobile Processors highlight 7nm technology, and when compared to the previous generation, these new processors feature a 10% increase in GPU performance, 24% increase in multi-threaded performance, and do so with higher clock frequencies up to 4.7GHz. The powerful performance in these new processors sets a milestone for the mobile platform. When it comes to benchmark testing, it is inspiring to see that SYSMark25 Performance scores improve by 14% compared to 11th Gen processors and by 28% on CrossMark too. Compact Size, Full Functionality
GIGABYTE’s R&D team efforts allow the new BRIX Extreme with the 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Mobile processor to integrate comprehensive functions within its compact size (44 x 134 x139 mm). The 2.5G Ethernet design paired with WiFi 6E configuration reduces the risk of disconnections while increasing the flexibility of the network. Supporting an integrated TPM module, the new BRIX can provide hardware-level security and system protection by avoiding data leak from decryption.
Expanding the Capability for Unlimited Possibilities
GIGABYTE’s latest BRIX Extreme provides two types of versions, a Slim version and a Tall version. The Tall version is for enabling additional storage capacity that allows users to install a 2.5” SSD/HDD. Also, the new upgrade kit features an I/O expander for adding a second LAN connection, a RS232 communication port, and a M.2 2280 slot. The kit hugely increases the flexibility and functionality to adapt to various applications. Combined with different I/O outputs, the mini size BRIX systems offer unlimited possibilities. Bundled with a VESA bracket, BRIX can easily be mounted behind a monitor, fulfilling various applications in different fields of industry, commerce, or education.

After precision thermal, firmware, hardware design, and other tests were conducted, the all-new 2022 BRIX became one of the highest BRIX performers, and yet the quietest.
When testing in the GIGABYTE Sound Lab, this all new 2022 BRIX ran at an almost undetectable sound level below 20dB, and that low noise level is maintained even when running heavy workloads where the sound level is still under 30dB. Moreover, when bleeding edge performance is needed, the 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Mobile processor enables boost mode with a TDP up to 45W, and still the noise level tops out at 35dB.
