ASUS Launches Zenbook 14 OLED

Today, ASUS launched the Zenbook 14 OLED UM3402  – a powerful, elegant, and lightweight 14-inch laptop that introduces a modern look to the pioneering Zenbook series. Powered by AMD for excellent performance and designed to deliver a cinematic audiovisual experience, this device is the new benchmark for portable perfection.

A full cinematic experience
The Zenbook 14 OLED features an expansive 16:10 2.8K OLED NanoEdge 550-nit 90Hz touchscreen that delivers incredibly detailed visuals with ultra-vivid colors. The NanoEdge design has ultra-slim bezels and a 90% screen-to-body ratio, which in turn gives the device a svelte and compact form factor. For superb color accuracy, the display is PANTONE® Validated and DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 certified, meaning it displays the deepest possible blacks. The Zenbook 14 OLED also emits low levels of blue light and is certified by both SGS and TÜV Rheinland for eye care.

The immersive audio is powered by the crystal-clear Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos stereo sound system, which uses a smart amplifier to boost volume by up to 350% without distortion, allowing for breathtaking realism in music, movies, and videos.

The latest WiFi 6E (802.11ax) delivers gigabit-class wireless connections enhanced by ASUS WiFi Master Premium technology for the fastest possible speeds. Additionally, WiFi SmartConnect automatically selects the best WiFi source, so the Zenbook 14 OLED connects seamlessly to the best WiFi signal and known mobile hotspots.

Designed for a sublime on-the-go experience, the Zenbook 14 OLED packs premium specifications into a compact, slim, and lightweight all-aluminum chassis. It’s just 16.9 mm thin and weighs a mere 3.06 lb, yet it includes a full set of I/O ports for easy device and peripheral connectivity. The ultrafast USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports support fast charging, 4K UHD external displays, and up to 10 Gbps data transfers. Modern looks, thoughtful design
The Zenbook 14 OLED reinterprets the signature Zenbook design to create a timelessly elegant yet totally modern look. The lid features a new monogram ‘A’ logo, which was first seen in the 30th Anniversary Edition Zenbook. An echo of the iconic spun-metal Zenbook finish, with its Zen-inspired concentric circles, can be seen on the end caps of the hinges. The device is finished in an elegant Jade Black.

The Zenbook 14 OLED is packed with thoughtful design features, such as the 180° ErgoLift hinge that makes it easy to share and collaborate, ASUS NumberPad 2.0 for easy data entry, and a fingerprint sensor on the power button for single-touch login with Windows Hello. The webcam features ASUS 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) technology which significantly upgrades the webcam image clarity by using a unique algorithm that sharpens images and performs real-time denoising to make sure everything looks crisp and clear during video calls.

For a comfortable typing experience, the Zenbook 14 OLED also features the new full-size ErgoSense keyboard and touchpad. Its 19.05 mm key pitch is the same as a desktop keyboard, allowing for superb accuracy. The 0.2 mm key-cap dish matches the natural shape of fingertips, and the long 1.4 mm key travel lets users type with optimal force. The special hydrophobic and anti-fingerprint coatings on the touchpad provides smoother, silk-like touch feedback for every scrolling movement.
