I’ve always like the Dell XPS 13 series of ultrabooks, so it would be interesting to see what this 2-in-1 is all about … and how it performs.
All of that is about to change this week when Dell reveals the XPS 13 (9365) a “two in one laptop” that addresses at least one of my big complaints. An image of the new device and its URL were spotted on Dell’s website.
Not much else is known about the XPS 13 (9365) except that it will feature the same near-bezel-less display aka Infinity Edge and borrow heavily in the overall design from the current Kaby Lake XPS 13. Speaking of, we can expect a dual-core Kaby Lake processor and likely similar RAM and storage specifications.
Will Dell go the distance though and include biometric authentication like they will with their upcoming XPS 15 (9650) refresh? It remains to be seen, but if they do Dell is poised to hit it out the park at CES this week. The XPS 15 (9650) refresh will feature a powerful Kaby Lake quad-core CPU and Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU with up to 4GB of video RAM giving Dell some heavy ammo in the PC wars.
