The latest XPS from Dell with Intel’s Ice Lake 10nm processor prove to kick so ass!
we got our hands on some leaked benchmarks for Intel’s upcoming Core i7-1065 G7 processor. This is a 10nm Ice Lake-U part that features a total of four cores (8 threads), a base clock of 1.3GHz, an all-core boost clock of 3.5GHz, a single-core boost of 3.9GHz, and a max TDP of 15 watts.
To go along with the PassMark benches that we reported on in that article, we also provided Geekbench scores dated May 28th of a Dell XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 convertible. Those benchmarks showed the system putting up impressive single- and multi-core scores of 5234 and 17330 respectively.
Today, we’ve got a fresh set of Geekbench scores, and they’re more recent, dated June 10th. Again, we have an XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 donor system, but the scores have jumped to 5629 and 18833 respectively for the single- and multi-core scores. These numbers put the Core i7-1065 G7 on even firmer footing against the Core i9-8950HK, which is a 6-core/12-thread mobile processor (5367/21859 single-/multi-core).
