A new product called Xiaomi Soocare X3 electric toothbrush has been launched for only $34 (229 yuan) on the crowdfunding platform of Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi. It will start shipping pre-orders in August.
According to Xiaomi, the Soocare X3 is the first Soocare-built sonic electric toothbrush that uses magnetic, acoustic suspension motor. It can swing at a speed of up to 37,200 times per minute, making the bristles spin well. It has a gadget motor with a torque output of 220gf.cm high. It has a general-purpose cleaning brush head that is made from the United States company DuPont 0.152 mm thin soft bristles that have a 3D high-density planting hair brush design to fit into the user’s teeth surfaces and interproximal spaces.
Soocare X3 has an IPX7 waterproof-certified toothbrush body and chassis. It can be washed directly under a running tap water after brushing without the fear of damaging it. It sports a built-in 1000 mAh battery that can last up to 25 days without charging and 16 hours if fully charged. Its supports wireless charging. The device features a Bluetooth connectivity to be able to connect it with a smartphone to see the battery’s percentage of power left.
Soocare X3 has a care-sensitive brush head and a deep-cleaning brush head. A Soocare Mini electric toothbrush for toddlers is also available, Gizmo China reported.
Chinese innovative startup Soocare Cassels was founded last year and manufactured the Soocare X3. The company may also be working on Philip’s Sonicare line up of the electric toothbrush, according to rumors.
