Dual EVGA RTX 3090 Ti GPUs Benchmarked Beats World Record

Taken from Videocardz … Extreme overclocker “CENS” scored a new world record with GeForce RTX 30 GPUs made by EVGA. Some enthusiasts might be wondering how is old gen still at the top of the ranking, but the answer is actually simple: the RTX 4090 GPU does not support SLI. All current world records are with dual RTX 3090 Ti GPUs because that’s their most powerful configuration.

The latest 3DMark world record was scored in Port Royal benchmark. It was actually a personal goal of CENS, who has been able to beat all 3DMark world records before, but the Port Royal was the last hurdle. With an overclocked RTX 3090 Ti, he was able to score 36730 points, beating the previous top score from South Korean overclocker “biso-biso” at 36335. To achieve this, he used Intel Core i9-13900K and overclocked DDR5 memory to 8400 MT/s.

It is no secret that the 3DMark world record requires very efficient and exotic cooling. In this case, both EVGA RTX 3090 Ti were equipped with pots for liquid nitrogen. In terms of clocks, cards were overclocked to 2550 MHz boost clock. That’s 31% higher than EVGA KINGPIN 1950 MHz clock and 37% higher than NVIDIA stock clocks. The actual, real-world frequency was 2715 MHz.

The journey started in Dec 2022 when we met at EVGA HQ for a week of overclocking when I was able to hit the WR in the new 3DMark Speedway during EVGA’s charity live stream with nvidias “next gen gpu”. Fast forward four months adding the WR in Port Royal was the last puzzle piece for my personal goal of achieving all major world records in 3DMark to this date (TimeSpy Extreme being my favourite one).
I’m extremely grateful for all the support I’ve been given from the team at EVGA and K|ngp|n himself who inspired me to follow this path throughout the past two years. This is my attempt of giving back to honor the memory of VGA dominance at EVGA.
