MSI Releases BIOS Update with 105W TDP Option for Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen Ryzen 7 9700X CPUs

MSI is excited to announce the upcoming release of the AMD AGESA BIOS PI 1.2.0.1 update, designed to enhance power delivery performance for the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 9700X processors on our 600 Series motherboards. This new BIOS will include an option that allows users to increase the original CPU TDP to 105W on these two Ryzen processors, providing an extra boost in performance.

With this new feature allowing the TDP of the new Ryzen™ 7 9700X and Ryzen™ 5 9600X processors to be increased to 105W, as seen with the picture below, performance actually gain at approximately of 13% compared to the original 65W TDP.
