After a successful launch of the GeForce RTX 3070 in their first collaboration, Asus and Noctua are at it again … they’ve now planning to launch a new GeForce RTX 3080, cooled with silent Noctua fans of course.
Taken from Videocardz … Nearly half a year after the introduction of the first ASUS graphics card designed with collaboration with Noctua, we finally get a new SKU. This time around, it’s the GA102-based model, the RTX 3080. Interestingly, the company opted for the 10GB version, not the 12GB model that launched in January. Thus, no one should probably be saying that 10GB model is being phased out at this point.
The card features a very similar quad-slot cooling solution with two 120 mm fans. Based on our quick check, both the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 appear to be the same size, the cooling solution has not changed much, but the heatsink is obviously modified for a bigger GPU.
