Was it by mistake? or on purpose? Well, it shows Intel have a plan … and this plan looks pretty solid. Take note AMD!
Taken from Videocardz … Taiwanese motherboard makers decided to just reveal the names of its next-gen Intel 700 motherboards series.
On the Eurasian Economic Commission website, there is a new filing featuring Biostar Z790 Valkyrie, Z790 Racing GTA, and Z790-A Silver motherboards. Additionally, the motherboard maker confirms that the next-gen mid-range series are (unsurprisingly) to be called B760. These new boards are all to be ready for the Intel 13th Gen Core series codenamed “Raptor Lake”.
The Z790 and B760 chipsets are likely to be the first to support Raptor Lake’s new feature called Digital Linear Voltage Regulator, supposedly lowering the CPU power by up to 25%. This new feature is listed on leaked slides outlining the changes arriving with Raptor Lake.
Update: Biostar reached out to us to confirm the following. The 790 series are still in the planning stage and the listing below is not real.
