Our good friends at HardOCP posted a review on the Corsair HX1000 1000W Power Supply. They really like it … giving it their Silver Award. Head over there check it out.
The Corsair HX1000 computer power supply is, you guessed it, rated for 1000 huge watts of power delivery to your enthusiast system build. All of this comes in rated at extremely high efficiency, while being fully modular, all Japanese capacitors, and boasting “extremely tight voltage regulation.” Let’s put all that to the test.
The Corsair HX1000 is the latest power supply we have seen from Corsair and, today, it represents a very solid option and a very solid improvement over the HX1000i we last saw in this output range. Starting with the very good build quality today things looked good and this was followed up by excellent voltage regulation, excellent DC output quality, very good/excellent Transient Load Tests results, excellent efficiency, and a very low noise profile. Indeed, by absolute numbers the HX1000 is showing us a lot of what we used to see from Corsair as we used the word excellent a number of times and that is certainly a good thing
