March 12th, 2014, Brea, California– Expanding on their flagship series of power supplies, EVGA had made two new additions to their SuperNOVA G2 series. Joining the already successful 1300W and 1000W power supplies are the new 750W and 850W models. Here’s what EVGA has to say:

The G2 series is their second generation of 80Plus Gold rated power supplies. Geared towards enthusiasts, they offer several features that make them a competitive choice in the market. The G2 power supplies offer improvements such as improved cooling fans to improve both noise and cooling performance, and higher total amperage.
The G2 series also adds support for NVIDIA SLI and integrated protection from potential issues such as over/under voltage, over current/power, and short circuits. With the introduction of these new models, EVGA also is releasing their first 850W power supply, filling a gap between the 750W and 1000W range to provide more flexibility and choices.
Some of the continued features are compact design and fully modular cables with individually sleeved cables as an option. The new SuperNOVA G2 power supplies are already released in Europe with a U.S. release expected this week. Manufacturer pricing is currently listed at $129.99 for the 750 G2 and $159.99 for the 850 G2.
