The hype surrounding Nvidia’s upcoming next-gen RTX 50-series is rolling full steam ahead. Leaks have been floating around and Gigabyte is one of the first manufacturers to tease us with a couple of box photos and 7 second video short.
Taken from Videocardz … This is something we actually expected to see today. Exactly one week from now. Jensen Huang will announce the GeForce RTX 50 series, and this is usually the moment when board partners are allowed to tease new graphics cards.
As in most cases, this teaser provides very few details. However, we conducted some research, and it appears to be a GeForce RTX GPU with an AIO cooler, specifically focusing on the fans on the radiator. The text on the image, “TUFO,” stands for “Team Up, Fight On.”
Our initial thought was that this could be a CPU cooler, which AORUS also produces. However, their CPU coolers usually feature RGB lighting, while AORUS GPUs not always use RGB on radiators. The RTX 4090 model did not include RGB lighting, but the 4080 and 4070 models did. Perhaps this will change, and this isn’t the card we think it is, perhaps it’s not the RTX 5090 after all.
Of course, we could be wrong, but the timing of this announcement seems unlikely to be a coincidence. If this isn’t the WaterForce model, it is most likely a different product that hasn’t been mentioned before.
