So all the big players in the graphics cards industry has launched their own version of the GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. Here’s a quick summary of them all:
MSI
The famous shapes of the eye-catching TWIN FROZR cooler are intensified by a fiery red GAMING glow piercing through the cover, while the MSI GAMING dragon RGB LED on the side can be set to any of 16.8 million colors to match your mood or build. A completely new custom 12-phase PCB design using Military Class 4 components with an 8+ 6-pin power connectors enables higher overclocking performance to push your graphics card to the max. The classy matte black solid metal backplate gives the card more structural strength and provides a nice finishing touch.
ZOTAC
“ZOTAC is pleased to be standing on the new page of gaming history. Pascal opens many doors to applications that we haven’t seen before, especially in the scope of virtual reality,” says Tony Wong, CEO, ZOTAC International. “Our engineering team has taken great measures to ensure our graphics cards continue to shine brightly, so that we can bring smiles to each gamer.”
ASUS
ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 is packed with exclusive ASUS technologies, including DirectCU III with a patented triple wing-blade 0dB fan designed to deliver maximum airflow for 30%-cooler and three times (3X) quieter performance, and ASUS FanConnect, which features GPU-controlled fan headers for targeted supplemental cooling. Industry-exclusive Auto-Extreme technology with Super Alloy Power II components ensures premium quality and reliability.
Inno3D
The new, and recently introduced, iChiLL X3 and X4 cooling solutions even improve the overall temperature control and come equipped with the Herculez cooling armor. As a result, the Inno3D GTX 1080 products will be capable to run at even higher clocks, fully optimizing the 2560 Cuda cores inside the GPU without losing grip on heat production. “We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in such a short timeframe, allowing an outstanding product to evolve into an epic chapter in the history of graphics” said Ken Ho, CEO at InnoVISION Multimedia Limited. “Especially our iChiLL X3 and X4 cooling solutions will ‘blow away’ high-end gamers and overclockers.”
Gainward
Gainward GeForce GTX 1080 Phoenix series comes with new Phoenix cooler design, provides extreme high thermal performance with very low acoustic level even under heavy-loading gaming environment. The cooler design is also including a LED-lighting loading indicator that gives users clear indication for the GPU temperature range. And, a “dual BIOS” design brings the confidence from a second VBIOS on the board that provides backup-BIOS to boot up whenever needed.
Manli
It built-in 2560 CUDA Cores, with core frequency is at 1607 MHz, base clock that can boost up to 1733 MHz, plus high-bandwidth memory GDDR5X technologies, and support DirectX 12 features to deliver the fastest, smoothest, and most power-efficient gaming experiences. Moreover, up to 3x faster than previous generation graphics cards in VR gaming application.
Colorful
The Colorful iGameGTX1080 X-TOP-8G is factory overclocked with up to 1847Mhz frequencies to push the GTX 1080 further for faster performance in today’s latest game. The new iGame cooler helps improve cooling potential thus allowing faster clock rates so you can game faster and cooler.
That’s the latest batch for now, but we’re sure that other brand will be releasing the latest and greatest graphics card yet.
