I’m not sure if any of this is true, but one thing is for sure … you need one hell of a power supply to power these new RTX 40 series graphic cards when they eventually come out.
Taken from VideoCardz … Over at Twitter, NVIDIA hardware leaker Kopite7kimi shared first benchmark result of flagship Ada GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. The card allegedly scores higher than 19,000 points in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme in Graphics test.
A quick comparison between three xx90 SKUs flagship parts from Ampere and Ada generation suggests that RTX 4090 would be 66% faster than RTX 3090 Ti and 82% faster than RTX 3090 in this one benchmark alone.

However, just one synthetic benchmark does not tell us the full story. Although it is a massive improvement at 4K resolution (used by Extreme preset), the card may perform different in other benchmarks. For starters, we still do not know anything about RTX 40 series raytracing performance.
The RTX 4090 is rumored to feature 16384 CUDA Cores, 52% more than RTX 3090 Ti. That would mean that the core count increase is just one variable that makes the next flagship even faster. This may be due to higher clocks or higher TDP, both expected to increase for the next generation.
