The 509 is designed for high airflow and versatile build options, including multiple customizable liquid cooling possibilities. The 509 is crafted using similar materials from previously praised In Win models such as SECC steel and tempered glass. The aesthetics meets functionality with the honeycombed ventilated side panel. The 509 even comes with a RGB logo that’s powered by a 4-pin connector (compatible with motherboards with RGB headers).
The 509’s full tower interior is extremely flexible, accommodating up to E-ATX motherboards and larger graphics cards up to 370mm long in eight slots. The 509 also fits CPU heatsinks up to 188mm high. There’s a plethora of cooling options including four areas to mount up to 360mm radiator (front, sides and middle). A triple fan radiator can even be placed in the front, and there’s still space remaining for a pump/reservoir combination next to it. If liquid cooling isn’t desired, multifunctional brackets can be used to support 120mm fans or 2.5” SSDs. The 509 also comes with an EZ-Swap HDD caddy for three 3.5” HDDs. All intake fans include dust filters.
The front IO houses four USB 3.0 ports, 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks and a single external 5.25” ODD bay.
An ASUS ROG certified option is available with a red LED In Win logo on the front panel, (it is also RGB capable if you have an RGB controller) and a Republic of Gamers logo printed on the tempered glass side panel.
