Well, well … who would have thought the dreaded BSOD (blue screen of death), made famous by Microsoft’s Windows operarting system … would one day hit the most advanced smartphone on the planet, the Apple iPhone 5S.
“The BSOD shows up when using and multitasking between Apple’s iWork apps Apple users have found a new (and somewhat familiar) flaw in the iPhone 5S: the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). According to The Verge, some customers with Apple’s brand-new iPhone 5S have experienced a BSOD with a random reboot immediately after. It seems to only happen with the iPhone 5S (not the 5C so far).
A BSOD may be familiar to those of you who remember seeing them in old Windows PCs. Reports say the BSOD shows up when using and multitasking between Apple’s iWork apps. A random reboot usually follows the BSOD.
Some users have already found a way around the problem, though. Simply disable iCloud syncing for Apple’s Pages, Keynote, and Numbers apps, and that should do the trick (until Apple, hopefully, releases an update to fix the problem).“
