Elgato was kind enough, to send us their Key Light Neo. It’s a compact LED panel that mounts on to your monitor. The unit measures 38 by 150 by 150 millimetres, and weighs in at only 246 grams.
The Key Light Neo completely eliminates any hotspots or glare, and casts a soft glow directly on your face while recording or streaming.
It’s ready to use right out of the box. Just attach the included USB cable to your computer, and turn it on! You can also control the unit via WiFi, using the Control Center app to tweak light settings from your computer, phone, or Stream Deck Neo.
The Key Light Neo offers a Color range of between 2900 to 7000K, with a power consumption of up to 15 watts.

The packagingis nice and simple. You get the Key Light Neo unit, the monitor mount, 1 x USB-C to A cable, and 1 x USB extension cable.
A Closer Look
There are 3 buttons on the Key Light Neo … Power-on button, cool white LED button, warm white LED button and a dial for brightness intensity.
On the back of the unit, you’ll find the USB port which powers up the LED panel, and on the bottom there’s a 1/4 thread screw mount for attaching the monitor mount.
