Verdict and Conclusion
With more monitors being all the rage these days people need more connections to drive those monitors. HIS has delivered a solid device to drive more monitors while not needing to buy more video cards.
If you have the USB ports HIS can deliver a quality viewing experience for everything except high bandwidth games. At times it can however run games but it is not exactly the most ideal solution.
But for people that need more monitors in a work environment this device really shines. You can add 6 more monitors via USB and not have to worry about installing multiple video cards. That in itself is really cool.
As of writing this device is around $65 after rebate for the HDMI version. If you want to save some money and get the DVI version that is around $40 after rebate which is a good deal. That would put getting a set of 6 of these at around the price of getting a high-end video card that may or may not have those connections.
Final words.
If you need another monitor for your work computer but do not want to purchase a new video card the HIS multi-view+ sound is a great alternative. You can install up to 6 different adapters to really increase the amount of monitor real-estate that is available to you. While it can play games it is not an ideal solution, but it does however play video and sound flawlessly if you want to watch movies while using the adapter.
