I came arcoss this pretty nifty gadget while I was visiting China over the weekend. The 小天才 (pronounced XiaoTianCai) a trendy smartwatch for Kids with SOS and GPS Tracker. It’s ideal for all you parents out there who wants to make sure that your kids are safe and easily reachable/trackable.
It comes complete with USB cable for charging the device and a slot for a micro SIM card. You can use the device to make calls, but there is a button to recieve and answer calls. And you’re probably thinking … What’s the point, if you can’t make calls.

Well, it isn’t designed for that purpose. It’s meant for parents who wants to make keep track of their kid’s whereabouts. When the child is wearing the watch … the parents call the mobile/cell number of the SIM card, the watch will ring … and the child can answer the call. The device also has a GPS tracker and you and use a downloadale app for map/location tracking.

Prices range from USD $35-50. So what’s the verdict? Is it worth getting one for your kids? … Well, Yes and No. It’s unfortunate that the app on the Andriod/iPhone is only availlable in Chinese, so unless you can read Chinese … it”ll be pretty hard for you to use it. You won’t understand the app’s function for GPS tracking, remote monitoring and map functions. However, having said that… the phone function will work as it relies on the SIM card only.
If they have an English version app … I think it will become a HOT seller!!
