Using the software, you can enable noise cancellation (weak or strong) and also the most important feature in my opinion … the recording Volume. You can set it to Low, Medium or High.
LarkSound App
I love the Speaker Play option. When enabled, it allows you to get real-time audio playback on your phone’s speaker without the need to unplug the receiver.
Conclusion and Verdict
Using your smartphone to produce video shorts or reels for Intsagram and Tiktok, is getting extremely popular. Especially when you have all the tools you need in the palm of your hand. But nothing is worse than recording a video clip with bad audio or muffled speech, thanks to the phone’s inadequate internal microphone.
Luckily, the Hollyland comes to the rescue with the Lark M2, which completely resolves this issue. It’s a super compact, button-sized wireless lavalier microphone designed for smartphones, such as the iPhone 15 or Android phones which uses the USB-C connector.
The microphone offers a sample rate of a 48kHz and 24bit audio recording, with a range of up to 1000ft. Each transmitter weighs in at only 9g. How anyone can fit this amount of technology in to a button-size module is beyond me and completely mind-blowing!
