Conclusion & Verdict
I don’t think I have so much fun with a pair of earphones since I got my Sennheiser Momentum in-ears. Sure the Momentum’s produces some of the best sounds a small set of earphones there is around, but TUNAI’s DRUM can rival that in terms of have much fun the sounds it produces.
Crisp and clear in all of its frequency range, the DRUM produces some of the funkiest bass around for a pair of in-ear earphones, and surprisingly its mid-frequency sounds are rich and pronounced. You have initial struggles with its highest tones being a bit piercing, but nothing some sound equalization can’t fix.
Looks-wise the DRUM is discreet, but the best part of its physical design is how snuggly they fit in your ears and importantly how comfortable they are.
Honestly, get your hands on the TUNAI DRUM, with a MSRP of just US$39.99, these will be snapped up very quickly.
As I’m writing this review my music playlist is cycling through all sorts of genres of music from RnB to grunge, from salsa to electronic dance, and Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit just came on, and it feels like I have a mini concert going on around my ears!
The DRUM’s kickstarter only started on the 21 September, but it has already surpassed it’s initial goal of US$15,000 (currently at over US$18,000) and it is a no-brainer why this is. You can still make your pledge here.
