Today we will present one of the most interesting Aerocool products which is DS Cube chassis. DS means Dead Silence so together with Cube it already suggests what we can expect. DS Cube is simply quite roomy but quiet PC chassis which supports smaller format motherboards like micro ATX and mini ITX. Recently these formats are more popular just because most important devices and controllers are integrated into the motherboard so there is no need of additional PCI/PCIe slots.
Cubic design is also popular among computer enthusiasts and gamers as it gives better access to computer parts and simply presents our precious hardware much better, espcially when there is also side panel with window.
This review is be based on an orange-black DS Cube chassis without the window on the side panels but of course that version is also available.
Here’s a little about Aerocool …
IN THE BEGINNING MAKING PROGRESS These new applications became a trend and leading the market in heat pipe application in desktop computer industry. Our unique and innovative design also made “AEROCOOL” as one of the favorite brand name in over-clocking and PC DIY (Do-It-Yourself) market. |
Above you can see how DS Cube top panels can be replaced giving additional airflow in case if we need it. I think that all who are thinking to install water cooling inside will be satisfied because of that feature.
Now let’s move to the next page to take a look at more detailed specification of the DS Cube chassis.

I’ve had one for almost three years. Everything is great except it is a nightmare to clean! That colored plastic/rubber is so difficult to clean. I live in high humidity and there is a dirt junk that builds up that is so hard to remove. I have sent an e-mail to the company about the best way to clean it up but no answer.
