The Packaging
No lets take a look at the package of the case and the accessories included with the GT-S.
I like the design of the packaging from the Aerocool GT-S, not too much art just the case in big and a some thing that looks like a car, but i like it!
When the package arrived, there were some minor dents and a scratches on the package, but nothing serious. The case itself was really good protected by, like almost all cases, two pieces of thick foam and a plastic sac to prevent dust to build up.
So then its time to unbox the case i guess!
I like the side window too is protected by some plastic. On the inside and outside.
The Accessories & Chassis itself
Lets take a look at the included accessories with the chassis, Aerocool included some nice things with their new case.
First of all Aerocool included 2x their 180 mm ‘Silent Master’ fan with Red LED’s:
One as front intake fan and one as top exhaust fan.
Then as second the included 1x 140mm ‘Shark red edition’ fan. Used as a rear exhaust fan, also with Red LED’s to match the color scheme of the case itself.
A thing sometimes troubles me with modern cases is you have a lot of 5.25″ drive bays but what do you do when you want to install a 3.5″ card reader or something like that? Right you have to buy an 5.25″ to 3.5″ adapter but if you have a special case some simple grey or black adapter will be really ugly with some cases. So i really liked that Aerocool included an 5.25″ to 3.5″ adapter.
And another really cool feature on most up-to-date cases is a front hub USB 3.0 (or multiple) but some people have an older motherboard with no USB 3.0 controller on their motherboard and it would be a shame if you can’t use 2 USB ports because you cant’t connect USB 3.0 So again Aerocool included an accessory for that!
With this you can connect the USB 3.0 cable from your front panel to a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard, here under you can see an illustration from the Aerocool site. I really like this its an awesome solution for people who don’t have an USB 3.0 header on their motherboard!
