Now, let’s take a look at the package and its contents.

Package and its contents

The V1 chassis arrived in a large, brownish cardboard retail package typical for PC cases. An additional sticker with a product picture indicated what we should expect to find inside.

The chassis itself is well protected by thick foam. The package’s exterior suggests signs of pressure or even hits, while the product inside is in perfect condition.

The package contents include everything we may need for the installation. There is a set of screws, a short user manual, and some zip ties. Everything else is already in its place in the case. Most things are meant to be used without tools, so once we install crucial components, everything else can be managed without a screwdriver.

With the V1 case, we also received a set of FP1 fans in regular and reverse versions. They look great with ARGB illumination and are a quiet high-pressure series that performs well with radiators.

Below, you can see the difference between a regular and reverse version of the FP1 fan.
These fans are also 30mm thick so APNX added required screws that perfectly fit the Alphacool radiator in our test build.

The tested case is painted black. I have to add that it’s black, not dark grey like most competitive cases. The paint quality is pretty good and resistant to scratches and fingerprints, which is also an advantage over many competitive PC cases.

Multiple air filters are on the case’s top, bottom, and front. Since the panels with filters are well-perforated, there is no problem with airflow. The APNX V1 is one of the best cases if we use many fans and large radiators. We can install up to three 280/360 mm radiators. The front panel can support a custom liquid cooling distribution plate, which we used in our build.

The case also lets us move the motherboard plate up or down if we need more space on top or bottom of the case. It allows us to install thicker radiators or fans that won’t interfere with the motherboard. However, I recommend measuring everything twice as thicker components may interfere with front panel fans, radiators, or distro plates. This is why we used a 280mm distro plate in our build, not a 360mm. 360mm doesn’t fit with a thick radiator on top of the case.

Next, I will describe what I find the most important. I will skip the obvious things that are clear when looking at the product, which would be boring.
