Verdict and Conlusion
I have to admit, I’m in love this chassis. If not for the cool RGB effects, then the handles just wins it for me! If you look at the market right now, there aren’t many chassis with handles. And if there are … none will look as good as the Cooler Master Masterbox Q300P. Now I understand not everyone likes chassis with handles, if you’re that person then look away … the Masterbox Q300P isn’t for you.
The whole reason why I love handles is because I can easily transport or carry my system to LAN Parties, for showcasing, at a friend’s gathering or anywhere for that matter. The handles really makes that difference.
OK, now let’s talk about its build quality. The Masterbox Q300P is made from steel and plastic. So don’t expected the same quality of an Aluminium chassis. Still, it’s strong, rugged and fairly light-weight considering. No tempered glass here, only a side panel with a plastic window, which reduces both the weight and cost of the chassis.
I like the modular I/O panel, which can be adjusted to six different locations on the chassis. And if you’ve got big hands, don’t worry … there’s a large 28mm wide area behind the motherboard tray, which allows for hidden cable management. And to finish it off … the RGB lighting effects is the icing on the cake with its massive 16.7 million colours.
One thing to remember though, the Masterbox Q300P is only suitable for Micro-ATX or a Mini-ITX motherboards, so if you own a full size ATX motherboard, you’re out of luck.
Costing at an amazing low price of USD $82 for the Cooler Master Masterbox Q300P chassis, it’s seriously one of the hidden gems for 2018. What a bargain … go get it now at Amazon – https://amzn.to/2GFC9my
