Corsair 2500X Mid-Tower Dual Chamber Chassis Review

Installation

We used an ASRock B760M Steel Legend WiFi Gaming (micro-ATX) motherboard, and that fitted nicely inside the chassis with plenty of room for the 24-pin ATX power connectors and other cables.

For CPU cooling, we fitted the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite LCD XT AIO cooler on the top of the chassis. Again, no issues here and everything fitted nicely.

We also mount 5 additional 120mm fans … 2 on side and 3 at the bottom for extra cooling. The airflow is directed inwards to allow good stream of air in to the case.

The Finished Item

And here’s the final result. The PC build was pretty easy. All the components fitted nicely with no issues at all. However, because this is a Corsair build you really need some decent cable management skills to tidy up those annoying cables that comes with Corsair’s iCUE eco-system 😛

Apart from that, I’m pretty pleased with how the whole system turned out. The front and side tempered glass panels give the system a nice panoramic view, and available options for additional cooling really helps too.

Take note. The Corsair 2500X is only suitable for Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX motherboards, so you won’t be able to install a standard/full-size ATX motherboard.
