Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, the Conquer 2 is a one of a kind chassis and one I probably only want to build once. Well I take some of that back because I have to do a lot more with it then just slap in my hardware and go. I was wore out moving this around to get all the pictures. This case is massive, truly one of the largest I have had in my possession. I wouldn’t say the build was extremely hard because you can slide out the part that all your hardware goes. The only challenging part was the the I/O wires. These are going to be a little tricky whether you leave the front hub in or remove it or leave it in and fish the wires through. But the reward of powering on this system for the first time was and seeing it all lit up. It was like the 4th of July in November. You could even take it further and add more than I did, if you wanted. You have an unlimited number of panels you could hide RGB strips. As you can see in the pictures the desk the case is sitting on is about 4ft wide and about 30 deep. And this case makes the desk look tiny. If you decide to go with a vertical mounted graphics card you will need to get the riser separately. There are two tabs up top and two panel in the back that have to be removed to access the sub chassis. Once you get to that point you be in familiar territory.
Be pared to be bombarded with question when your friends come over. When you walk into the room the Conquer 2 will not go unnoticed. Everyone wants to know what it is and, then ask why. And all you got to say is “Just because”.
For a proud hardware geek, the chassis is the focal point of the PC, since it is the largest piece of hardware. The aesthetics of a chassis are important to many system builders and consumers alike. A chassis with sleek lines and a smooth finish are key factors to give your custom PC a specific curb appeal.
