GAMEMAX N90 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

We’ll be taking a look at the GAMEMAX N90 Mid-Tower Chassis. It’s designed for gamers and users who’s after great aesthetics with a decent amount of cooling. It comes with a curved glass panel with a 270 degrees panoramic view and features an innovative top-and-bottom compartment structure with a quick-release design, as well as a rotating cable management panel for a clean and tidy look.

The N90 chassis can support large AIO liquid coolers with a radiator size of 360mm at the top, 240mm at the side (or top) and 120mm at the rear. It comes with 6 x 120mm ARGB fans included, and can support up to a maximum of 9 cooling fans in total. The chassis also come with ventilation holes featuring GAMEMAX’s signature claw-shaped design to enhance cooling performance.

The N90 chassis supports GPUs up to 415mm in length, and allows vertical GPU mounting using the optional GPU support bracket and PCIE 4.0 riser cable.

For storage, the N90 allows you to install up to 2 x 3.5″ hard drives and 2 x 2.5″ SSDs. And lastly, you can install an optional LED screen to display personalised content or system data to monitor your PC’s health.

The case measures 525mm (H) x 440mm (L) x 230mm (W) in dimensions, which is large enough to support all the latest ATX motherboards, including reverse connector motherboards from Asus, Gigabyte and MSI. These new types of motherboards feature connectors for power, USB, fan headers, etc on the reverse/back side, making the whole system look nice and clean with no “visible” cables in the front.

The front I/O panel includes a Power Button, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Port, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a combination audio/microphone jack.

I would like to send a big thank you to GAMEMAX for the review sample! Here is a snippet of what they have to say about themselves on their website:

Founded in 2013, GameMax began its journey with a clear vision: to redefine gaming hardware by delivering the best gaming experience through high-performance and good-quality products. From the very beginning, the lion in our logo symbolized strength, courage, and an untamed spirit—a reflection of our relentless pursuit of maximum performance and innovation. Over the years, the brand has faced challenges and uncertainties, but like the king of beasts, we persevered, adapting and evolving with each step.

The global pandemic marked a turning point, as a new generation—Gen Z—rose to become the dominant force in the gaming community. With distinct preferences, a passion for self-expression, a prioritization on convenience, and a demand for both style and substance, they reshaped the landscape of gaming. Recognizing this shift, GameMax made a bold decision in 2024: to transform, evolve, and roar back into the industry stronger than ever.

This year marks the rebirth of GameMax, and with it, the rebirth of the lion in our logo. More powerful and eye-catching than before, the new lion represents our renewed commitment to lead the charge into a new era. This transformation embodies our new core values: to deliver “affordable luxury” by merging cutting-edge technology with the latest trends for Gen Z gamers; to offer both pre-configured PC relevant solutions and an enhanced assembly experience, catering to users who value convenience as well as those who enjoy the creative process of building their own gears; and to drive innovation by focusing on what users truly need.

The reborn lion is a symbol of our promise: to continuously evolve alongside our community, embracing challenges and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. GameMax isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement, a culture, and a testament to the spirit of gaming. Together with our users, we will write the next chapter in gaming hardware, fueled by the courage and strength of the lion within us.

For this review, we’re going to build a PC using mostly MSI components, which includes a MSI MPG X870E Carbon WiFi motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor, MSI MPG A1000G 80 PLUS Gold PSU, Tryx Panorama SE 360 ARGB AIO cooler, Patriot Viper Xtreme 5 DDR5-8000 48GB Memory Kit, Crucial T700 1TB PCIE Gen5 SSD, and a MSI GeForcer RTX 5080 Vanguard SOC Launch Edition.

OK, before we begin the MSI PC build, let’s take a closer look at the features and specifications of the chassis in our page.

No price or availability yet for the N90, but you can buy the original GAMEMAX N80 BK chassis for around USD $130 from Newegg – https://tinyurl.com/3jyy82cu
