GAMEMAX N90 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Exterior

The whole chassis measures approximately 530mm (H) x 439mm (L) x 240mm (W) in dimensions, and it’s large enough to support all the latest ITX/M-ATX/ATX/E-ATX motherboards, including reverse connector motherboards from Asus, Gigabyte and MSI.

The first thing that strikes you is the curved glass tempered panel with a 270 degrees panoramic view. The case also features an innovative top-and-bottom compartment structure with a quick-release design, which makes it look like it’s floating … pretty unusual.

One thing I didn’t like (for me anyway) is that, both the top and side panels are combined in to one single piece. This means, you have to remove the entire top/side panel in one go in order to gain accss the rotating panel for cable management.

Interior

There’s loads of room inside the chassis. You can easily mount one 360mm radiator one on the top, and one 240mm radiator on the front/side of the chassis. Plus you can install a load of cooling cooling inside the case, up to a total of 3 x 120mm / 2 x 140mm on the top, 2 x 120mm at the frotn and 1 x 120mm at the rear.

An interesting includes the rotating panel for cable management, which allows you to have a clean and tidy look. For storage, the N90 allows you to install up to 2 x 3.5″ hard drives and 2 x 2.5″ SSDs with no issues at all.

The chassis is capable of supporting a full size graphic cards with a maximum length of 415mm.

The 6 included 120mm ARGB fans are all connected to an onboard fan controller, which some of you may or may not like. The PCB is SATA powered with a PWM and ARGB cable that needs to be plugged in to the motherboard. (To be honest, I’d rather have fans that can be daisy-chained). Interestingly, the bottom 3 fans as well as the 2 side fans come with reverse fans blades to pull air in to the system. Most cases don’t come with these type of fans.

Closer Look

Removing the top will reveal a magnetic dust guard which is a nice to have. The chassis also come with ventilation holes featuring GAMEMAX’s signature claw-shaped design to enhance cooling performance (4th photo below).

The front I/O panel includes a Power Button, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a combination audio/microphone jack. However, there’s no reset switch.

During the PC build, we recommend you remove the tempered glass side panel completely. The last thing you want is to have your tempered glass cracked or scratched during installation.
