Like most PC cases, also LIAN LI LANCOOL ONE comes in a brownish box. Nothing unusual here.
Also inside the box is a typical plastic bag and styrofoam for basic protection. It works well and is used worldwide so I guess it’s good enough.
I’m maybe moving forward but this small box which you see on the photos is actually inside the case. It contains screws and zip ties. On the box itself, we can find QR code which will lead us to the user’s manual. It’s getting more popular recently to see it made this way. It also saves paper which would probably end in a garbage can.
After unpacking the case we see additional protection on the side window which is made of tempered glass. It’s much more resistant to scratches than any plexiglass type windows. The only thing which I dislike is that the frame of the window is black. It looks good by itself and it’s well prepared but our chassis is whole white with a silver front.
The window has foam stripes on the back so we don’t have to worry about vibrations.
All steel parts were painted white. The white paint looks great and is really bright. Even plastic elements have nearly the same color what we can barely ever see in competitive products.
LANCOOL ONE is a full ATX size case but it’s also quite compact. There is however everything we may need in a modern gaming PC.
Front/top panel gives us access to USB and audio ports. I’m glad to see there also USB-C which is more popular recently. Besides the power button, we can also use the LED button which changes modes of the lighting.
Sides of the case can be removed without any tools. The same top air filter. It’s a good feature to give users easy access to their PC.
Since we already opened the case then let’s take a look inside.
