A Closer Look: Exterior
Staying true to the Phanteks Enthoo line, the Luxe features a sandblasted front and top panel. Ambient lighting runs from the top to the front of the case on both sides. Even though smaller in size, the Enthoo Luxe boasts many features from the award-winning Enthoo Primo. The Luxe comes pre-installed with a 200mm front fan and 2x PH-F140SP fans. The Luxe has extensive watercooling capabilities that allow for four different radiator mounting locations as well as various sizes. Phanteks figured out how to combine the space of the Pro and the looks of the Primo into one. The chassis’s dimensions are 235mm wide, 560mm tall, and has a depth of 550mm. The aluminum build and steel screw design is a modders necessity. With those options you can basically let your creative juices flow. As a standard there are a pair of USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports as well as a pair of audio jacks. The finish is not a shiny polished look, which tends to cut back on those pesky finger prints. The split window when you install the optional RBG LED strip looks breathtaking through the smoke tint. I have read a few responses where users complaining about the LEDs not turning off. Here is a tip: hold the LED button down and the lights will go off. The top mesh grill can be totally removed with the push of a button which can be super handy when cleaning or installing new hardware. The easy-to-clean dust traps are easily accessible and are not a pain to pull out and put back in.
