Installation & Finished Look
Installation of any 3.5″ hard drive or 2.5″ SSD is extremely easy within the Enthoo Pro. Using the provided tool-less brackets, we simply slide the hard drive into place in which ever cage we desire. Installation of a 2.5″ hard drive or SSD does in fact require screws, as do most chassis currently available in the market. We simply install the SSD into the supplied bracket and then slide the bracket into place either behind the motherboard tray or in one of two available locations behind the ODD cage. Done!
Installation of an optical drive is quick and painless. We simply slide the drive into the bay and it locks into place. There was almost zero play, which is an improvement of the Enthoo Primo!
Installing a power supply unit is easy enough; simply slide the unit into place and use the provided screws to secure it to the chassis.
We then proceed to install the rest of our hardware just as we normally would, and voila! I am amazed at how clean this system looks. All that is visible are the components that a user would want to show off. That cable management tho!
In no time at all, some basic cable management was accomplished and not only serves the setup aesthetically, but for improved airflow as well. I believe Phanteks studied various configurations when they designed the cable management system. It is perfect!
The Enthoo Pro is a superb chassis with amazing looks and near perfect execution. The blue LEDs accent the chassis perfectly and complete the modern and clean look. During operation I had to second-guess myself and check to make sure all of the preinstalled fans were operating because I could not hear any noise, which is very impressive and a welcome feature to a near perfect product. This chassis is absolutely one of the best (next to the Primo!) chassis I have had the pleasure of reviewing.
And there we have it readers, yet another epic chassis offering from Phanteks! Let us review some points and final thoughts in the conclusion of our review.
