Installation
Installing my wife’s components into the Viper GX II was fairly easy. The DVD drive slides right in and is pretty easy to match up with the tool-free clamps. I did however, need to use a screw to hold it tighter in place. The Hard Drive with the drive rails were a breeze to install. Just set the drive rails around the Hard Drive and slide it into one of the three slots. I really had no problems with the rest of the installation. Although, Raidmax does not hide the cables cut-outs with any rubber grommets, the cut-outs are fairly big and set in the right spots. Having the room behind the motherboard and those cut-outs really made routing the cables very easy. As you can see in the pictures that there is plenty of room for a lot of different kinds of set ups.
