SilverStone Sugo 14 Mini-ITX Cube Chassis Review

Conclusion and Verdict

In, conclusion the Silverstone Sugo 14 offers anyone wanting a great solution to a small form factor case; without having to compromise on parts you install. You can just about use every part from a ATX build other than the motherboard. You aren’t going to have to replace your power supply or 240mm Radiator. Really all you will need is a Mini-ITX board and your good to go. This is a case that will accommodate all the larger parts of a PC build. The cooling is great for such a small case. Everything fit very nicely into the designated spots. The whole process was easy to navigate through and it made sense where everything was located. The air flow was sufficient but you also have the option to add another 120mm fan if you wanted. Another thing that is great about this case is the fact that the interior and the removable panels are Metal. The only plastic on this case is the front panel. The metal build definitely increases the rigidness of the structure and would allow for some easy mods. The paint finish on the metal was strong enough to handle the wiped down from an alcohol wipe. The front panel not so much! Ooops, my fault! Keep the the heavy cleaner away from the front panel or you will ruin the front plastic panel.

So we have a VGA limitation of 330mm of length and 148mm of width. We could fit the new Ampere cards with no issue and there will be a panel with ventilation situated tight there by the graphics card. Great design and SilverStone intended on the panel being able to breath freely. For the CPU cooler we have a limitation of 182mm. With that we can fit some of the largest cooler we can buy. So go ahead a slap in a NH-D15 and you should still have plenty of room. Now for an AIO just keep the water block under 55mm and you are good to go.
