Conclusion
Regardless of quite many issues, we’ve found on our way, the Meshroom-S is still not a bad PC case. I can recommend it to more advanced users who know what they are doing and have time to plan everything right. It’s for sure not a product for users who buy PC components on impulse, as the wrong components will cause issues very fast.
The product quality is pretty good, but it still isn’t problem-free, especially when we want to use mATX or ATX motherboard. I would recommend another revision to solve all the problems.
The Meshroom-S is not really cheap, as it costs $169.99. It’s available directly in the SSUPD store or on Amazon. Some stores ask for over $250, so I recommend browsing various online stores to find the best price. I’m sure there are PC enthusiasts who already have an idea on a PC in the Meshroom-S, but at the given price tag, many users may start looking for a competitive product.
SSUPD Meshroom-S is covered by a 1-year warranty. It’s less than a typical EU warranty for electronics. On the other hand, there is not much to break in a PC case, especially since there are no fans included, so I doubt we will even use the RMA process.
Final words:
The SSUPD Meshroom-S is clearly a product designed for computer enthusiasts who don’t conform to how a PC should look. And because of that, it’s a fairly unique chassis and quite hard to recommend to a regular user who is not aware of the possible design and installation issues.
The SSUPD Meshroom-S is a unique PC chassis that, with some user imagination, may help enthusiasts to build an exceptional small gaming PC.
