Thermaltake Chaser A41 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Verdict and Conclusion

That’s the end of this two-parter review.  So how much better is the A41 than the A31?  I would say a fair amount.  It covers some of the shortcomings of the A31 without going too far overboard on the price.

At the time of this review, the A41 goes for around $100.00 USD retail.  Though to be honest I would be more comfortable with a $15-20 difference.

This actually falls closer in line with the mid-range category despite the price increase.

I mentioned the Soprano went for around $120.00 USD on average, and if the A41 also had sound-proofing it would be a definite bargain.  As is though, it’s a decent trade.

Here are the pros:

  • Better cooling.
  • More room.
  • Very easy hardware installation.

And the cons:

  • External backplate bolts.
  • A little more expensive.

Final Words.  So in conclusion, the recent Chaser series is a pretty good thing for mid-range shoppers who aren’t looking for a lot of extra flair for not a lot of extra money.  Thermaltake has done a good job appealing to that market and I think if they keep up the trend, I’ll continue to give them my seal of approval.
