Exterior
The chassis supports both all ATX motherboards including the Asus BTF and MSI project Zero. It comes with a 4mm tempered glass panel pre-installed on the left side, allowing you to show off the interior configuration of your PC.
The entire chassis measures 558.5 x 270 x 513mm , which is slightly bigger than most standard mid-tower chassis that we’ve come across. The spacious interior of the chassis allows you to mount several large radiators and can support large GPUs upto 443.8mm in length. I also like the top, bottom, and side panels which have perforated holes allowing excellent airflow.
All the panels for the chassis feature a tool-less design and can be easily removed or re-attached easily without any screws.
Interior
After removing all the panels, you can see that the CTE E660 MX chassis is extremely spacious. You can install a massive AIO radiator with a maximum size of up to 420mm. This you can placed these radiators at the front, rear or next to the motherboard.
Even though the CTE E660 MX chassis doesn’t come with any cooling fans, you can also install up to 14 x 120mm fans or 12 x 140mm fans for extra cooling.
The CTE E660 MX can fit up to a 4-slot graphics card with a maximum length of 415mm (with radiator) or
443.8mm (without radiator). We tried a Geforce RTX 4080 Super, which is a huge graphics card and that fitted with no issues at all.
Depending on your needs and configuration, you can install up to 3 x 3.5”, 1 x 2.5” or 2 x 3.5”, 2 x 2.5″ hard drives/SSDs.
Closer Look
For cable management, it comes with 10 seaprate velcro straps which not pre-installed, so are you’ll have to use your imagination and be a little creative.
The front I/O ports include Two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and HD Audio ports.
The chassis comes with detachable filters at the top, front, bottom, rear and right side of the chassis. You also get two interchangeable front panels …a tempered glass for panoramic views and a perforated panel for better air-flow.
