Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Thermaltake View 380 TG ARGB Mid Tower Chassis. This is a dual chamber ATX mid tower chassis with tempered glass panels on the side and front for a better view of the entire pc. It also comes with 4 pre-installed hydraulic bearing 120mm ARGB Lite Fans which is I am impressed with as most companies will only give 3 fans in their cases. The fans include RGB lighting that can be controlled by motherboard software from ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI, and ASRock.

It is more complicated to remove the side and front glass panels compared to other cases which we will cover later on in the review, however there is plenty of space at the back of the case to store cables. The case supports power supplies with a max lenght of 200mm and up to two 2.5‘’ SSDs and one 3.5‘’ HDD in total. The I/O ports on the top panel include two USB 3.0, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C and HD Audio ports for direct access when needed. The power button is also satisfyingly clicky!
Thermaltake’s View 380 case supports Hidden-Connector Motherboards from ASUS, MSI and GIGABYTE meaning cable management will be a breeze when using this case with BTF compatible cases. There is also plenty of space all around the case so you don’t need to worry about size compatibility.
I would like to send a big thank you to Thermaltake for the review sample! Here is a snippet of what they have to say about themselves on their website:
Our Mission- Delivering the perfect user experience
Our Vision- Building Thermaltake into a cultural brand for the enjoyment of entertainment, e-Sports, technology and lifestyle
Founded in 1999, Thermaltake Group first specialized in air cooling, and became a pioneer in the PC DIY market by launching the world’s first turbine cooler, the “Golden Orb”. In the following years, Thermaltake became a publicly listed company with an IPO on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. As Thermaltake expanded globally, the company established branch offices in the United States, Germany, Australia, Russia, and China, and gained firm footholds in major markets such as Europe, America, Oceania, Asia, and Africa.
Aiming to diversify our business, mobile accessory brand LUXA2, gaming peripheral brand Tt eSPORTS, and esports team Tt APOLLOS were created. In the same timeline, Thermaltake continued to develop our case, power, cooler, memory, and gaming gear product lines. Committed to the mission of “Delivering the perfect user experience”, Thermaltake has since evolved into the leading brand for computer hardware & peripherals and the provider of PC DIY, Case Mod, and Gaming total solutions.
In this rig, we have put together the ASUS Z790 Taichi Lite motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 RAM from patriot gaming, the Silent G3 750W power supply from KissQuiet, a 1TB SSD from PNY and an old 1080ti to compare the size compatibility (we did not include all components as we are mainly revewing the case). Let’s take a furhter look at this case!
