The packaging is identical to the other Zbox unit we’re reviewed. There’s a separate power supply, DVI-to-VGA adaptor, a VESA wall mount/bracket, driver CD and Cyberlink’s Creative Suite which includes PowerDVD (Blu-Ray edition) software, PowerDirector, plus other software. Still no remote control, extra cables like HDMI, eSATA or USB 3.0, and still no Windows 7. Didn’t I mention those that before? I’m sure I did.
A Closer Look
Taking a closer look at the Zotac Zbox AD03 BR Plus, you’ll see plenty of connectors including HDMI, DVI, eSATA, RJ45, SPDIF Optical, 1x USB2.0 and 2x USB3.0 ports. There’s also a 6-in-1 multi card reader, which is great for transfering photos.
The unit is very smooth in appearance and build quality is very good. It looks very much like a standalone DVD/Blu-Ray player … it wouldn’t look out of place if you put it with your other audio/visual equipment.
