There are a lot of nice features here, coming with a remote (and batteries!), WiFi, external IR reciever, a SSD and a halfway decent onboard GPU is very cool. No OS and no optical drive is a bit awkward however. Ideally Zotac would bundle in some software to run on a different computer that could peel a windows installed off the DVD and put it on a USB drive. Such software exists (thankfully, or I’d be up a creek here as I don’t have a USB optical drive!), but zotac doesn’t mention it or bundle any. They do suggest using a USB (or eSATA) optical drive, which will work fine if you have one.
