Cooler Master HAF 700 Chassis Review

Conclusion and Verdict

Testing yielded great results. I was more interested in the GPU temps because the CPU cooler was an AIO and that could benefit from the massive airflow. But we always setup an AIO so it grabs fresh air it is hardly affected by how much intake a case has. With that being said the 3060Ti isn’t the hottest card but comparing it to another setup we saw a ~4-degree improvement over another case with the same hardware. So, your graphics card benefited from the massive 200mm fans on the front. If you go this route, just make sure you have enough exhaust fans setup, so you don’t get stagnate air inside the case. But even with the 2 exhaust fans pre-installed and an AIO and the 200mm fans set up for intake, it pushed out plenty of air.

This case is not only going to allow you to build to your imaginations limit, but it also has some of the best features for tool-less designs. Coolermaster new that building in such a large case would be time consuming and challenging at times, they have incorporated as many tool-less install components you can find on a single case. One thing I saw that made me appreciate this was the 2 screws for the PSU. I am one that will question the number of screws to hold in components. You don’t need 4 screws on a PSU. And this proves it! You only need two. And you will find that with the HAF 700. So, even though this case may seem intimidating due to the sheer size, it has plenty of extras to make the build as friendly as possible and go quickly.

So, we have a VGA clearance of 490mm! Find a card to large and I will be shocked! For the CPU cooler we have a limitation of 166mm of height. Now for an AIO. To keep it short we can put up to a 240mm in the rear. The top and bottom both have a max of 420mm. You can even have 2 360mm on the top panel if you choose too. This case is no doubt a serious cooling machine. The space is adequate and the RGB is nice.
