Conclusion and Verdict
The Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 5 is probably one of the best budget chassis we’ve seen. It’s anything but budget! This chassis is pretty amazing in terms of features and looks. It’s the perfect case for MODDING!
The chassis is surprisingly very light-weight, thanks to the front and side panel which is made from plastic. Yes, it’s make a plastic … now I know it’s not to everyone’s tastes, but hear me out. It’s not as bad as you might think.
I do like the swappable face-plates which you can change from RED to WHITE or BLACK. And if that’s not enough, you can go to Cooler Master’s website to download the template, and 3D print your own to what ever color you want … MAKE IT YOURS!
The PSU cover is a nice added bonus and the hidden 3.5″ HHD trays is a welcome change (but you only get 2 of them).
For around USD $50 you can’t really go wrong. It’s one of those chassis can use to build a budget gaming PC without looking too cheap 😉 Buy now at Amazon – https://goo.gl/KmsyA9.
Final Words
For a budget chassis, the Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 5, not only tick all the right boxes in terms of features and looks … but it can also save you lot of money. Money which you can spend on a better graphics card or motherboard. For around USD $50, you seriously can’t go wrong?

Looks like a decent case, definitely better their CM590III case.
Looks like a much better case their own CM590III.
They make a case like this and then they don’t include a proper PSU filter… but they do that for a Masterbox Lite 3.1. A person has to wonder at times what the hell goes trough their minds when they design products.
