Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, even if extreme cooling is not of need the Antec Kuhler is priced well for being a liquid cooler. The Grid software is extremely easy to use and the RGB LED is a nice touch on the heatsink. The fact that the cooler is so massive and did not fit my chassis was a little disappointing but expected when a cooler of a massive size. Be sure to double check you measurements before trying to install the Kuhler 1250. I can assure you the Kuhler 1250 is right there at the top in cooling. If you are in need of a cooler that requires no maintenance and superb cooling the Antec Kuhler H2O 1250 will meet those demands! Be sure prepare yourself for the (extreme) fan setting because when the CPU is in overdrive and those fans spin up your case may actually start to hover! All kidding aside the Antec Kuhler 1250 is a top of the line high performance H2O CPU cooler!
The Antec Kuhler H2O 1250 can be found on Antec’s website for $109 USD.
Pros:
- Competitive price
- Superior performance
- Easy-Bend tubing
- Zero maintenance
- 3-Year warranty
- RGB LED illumination
Cons:
- Clearance issues Installing in some cases
- Hoses are black and not see through
Final thoughts: The price of the Antec Kuhler 1250 is right in line with high performance air cooled units while providing superior performance. The Kuhler 1250 seems to be well built and the hoses can take some abuse. Huge fan of the temperature controlled RGB led illumination on the heatsink. The cooler is so massive it may create issues with certain chassis. While I listed the color of the hoses as a Con, the fact that they are not see-through is a mere personal preference and does not hinder the overall performance of the Antec Kuhler 1250.
