Bitspower GPU Waterblock Acrylic (Clear) Review for the ZOTAC GTX 1080/1070 AMP Extreme

Verdict and Conclusion

I’ve always had my doubts about watercooling your graphics card. Yes, it may look good in your system but I had the belief if you weigh out the pros and the cons … it just wasn’t worth the hassle, time or cost for a few degrees lower. Well, after this review … I must admit I was totally wrong about watercooling your graphics card, and now you can say … “I told you so”.

Not only does watercooling your graphics card make your system look stunning … the lower temperatures you’ll achieve is something really worth considering.

Idle temperatures don’t really count for anything … but at 100% full GPU load, the temperature for my Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 AMP Extreme was a mere 40 degrees Celsius. Temperatures with a stock fan at full load can reach up to anything between 55 to 65 degrees or higher.

Back to the Bitspower GPU Water Block. As far build quality is concerned, it’s all there … solid construction, good quality materials and easy installation. It comes with extra heat or thermal pads for your memory chips and VRMs, as well as 2 stop fittings.

Make sure you check out Bitspower’s website for other GPU water blocks that will fit your graphics card.

Pricewise, the Bitspower GPU Water Block isn’t cheap. Costing around $200 USD, it’s one of the more expensive GPU water blocks out there … and remember this particular model we’re reviewing only fits the Zotac GeForce GTX 1070/1080 AMP Extreme. Buy now at Amazon – https://goo.gl/P6APHo

Final words:

Even though this particular GPU water block is slightly pricey than others I’ve seen on the market, I have to congratulate Bitspower for being able to produce GPU water blocks for other graphics card manufacturers such as Zotac, Galax, EVGA, MSI, Gigabyte and of course Asus.

With good build quality and solid construction, the Bitspower GPU water block not only offered excellent cooling performance for our Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 AMP Extreme, but also it looks great on any watercooled system.
