Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Cooler Master Hyper 622 HALO White CPU air cooler.
The Hyper 622 HALO is a massive twin tower CPU air cooler measuring 125 x 127 x 157 mm, and weighs in at around 1.1kg. It comes with 6 heat-pipes and a nickel-plated copper base that provides maximum coverage for optimal cooling.
It’s compatible with all the latest CPUs from both Intel and AMD so no issues there. It supports Intel Socket LGA 115X / 1366 / 1200 / 1700 / 2011 / 2066 (Core i3 / i5 / i7 / i9 CPUs), and for AMD AM5 / AM4 / FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 CPUs.
The heatsink comes in an all white design with a polished aluminium top cover … even the cooling fins and heatpipes are also coloured white. And this makes it perfert for anyone who wants a CPU cooler to match their white-themed PC build.
It also comes with 2 x MF120 Halo White ARGB cooling fans, that feature a Rifle Bearing rotor and a hybrid fan blade design, giving you a maximum air flow of 51.8 CFM, and a low noise level of around 27 dBA.
And finally, the dual loop addressable Gen2 RGB lighting is compatible with all the major RGB eco-systems out there, including Asus’s Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and ASRock’s Polychrome Sync.
The Hyper 622 HALO CPU cooler has a height of 157 mm, which although quite large, should fit in most mid-tower chassis. What I like about this cooler is that it has good clearance over the RAM/DIMM slots and I/O hood, which means it will fit on most motherboards out there.
I would like to thank Cooler Master for providing these review samples! Let us see what Cooler Master has to say about themselves on their website:

It will be interesting to see how the Cooler Master Hyper 622 CPU air cooler will perform against the recently reviewed Cougar Forza 135 and all the AIO liquid coolers we’ve tested in the past. Could it cool your CPU as good as it looks in term of cooling performance?
We’ll be using an Intel Core i9-13900K processor, which are known to run hot (with a max TDP of 250-300 during Turbo Boost), along with a GeForce RTX 3090 (TBP of 350W) and an ASRock B760 motherboard. Let’s see what temperatures we will get at full load with default speeds.
OK, let’s dive straight in and take a look at the specifications on the next page. We couldn’t find a MSRP for the Cooler Master Hyper 622 HALO White CPU Air Cooler, but expect to pay around USD $90 when it becomes available.
You can buy something similar – the Cooler Master Hyper 212 HALO White for around USD $48 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3LRBz63
