A Closer Look
As you can see below, the heatsink features 6 heat-pipes, nickel plated copper base and plenty of aluminium cooling fins that provides twice the surface area for superior cooling.
The overall build quality of the heatsink is excellent. It’s quite heavy and weighs around 1kg. The CPU cooler comes with 2 x Cooler Master MF120 HALO fans pre-mounted, and you can adjust the height of these fans using the included mounting clips.
The heatsink features a Nickel plated Copper base with 6 heat-pipes, all of which helps to improve heat dissipation. But notice that all the heat-pipes and cooling fins are painted white. Some say having this type of aesthetic is a detriment and could decrease the cooling performance. We shall see….
One thing to be aware of … Remember to remove the sticker before mounting the heatsink to the CPU. Believe me, I’ve seen people forgetting to remove the sticker (me included)!
