Conclusion and Verdict
Asethetically speaking, the Cooler Master Hyper 622 HALO White CPU air cooler looks great. An all white CPU cooler that’s perfect any white-themed PC builds. It features 2 x Cooler Master MF120 HALO White cooling fans supporting full ARGB, a nickel plated copper base, 6 heat-pipes and aluminium cooling fins, both of which are painted white. It’s the only “all-white” CPU air cooler that I know of on the market.
As far as cooling performance is concerned, it’s pretty standard. During our tests, we used an Intel Core i9-13900K processor with a TDP of 125w (Turbo Boost reaches 250-300W). The idle temperatures was around 30 degrees Celsius, which is pretty standard. But at full load, the average temperature reached a high of 88 degrees Celsius, which to be honest wasn’t something to shout out about. Not great, not bad … just normal.
So this begs the question … does painted heatsinks affect cooling performance? Well, based on my experience and this review, I have to say yes. There’s a whole article regarding this matter, go here.
It basically boils down to aesthetics. Do you want your all-white themed PC to look great with an all-white CPU air cooler? Well, if you do … there’s going to be a compromise and a trade-off.
On a positive note. The Cooler Master Hyper 622 CPU cooler comes with everything you need to mount your processor securely, and as an added bonus, you also get a tube of CryotFuze thermal paste included with the package. As far as compatibility is concerned … it suitable for all Intel Socket LGA 115X / 1366 / 1200 / 1700 / 2011 / 2066 (Core i3 / i5 / i7 / i9 CPUs), and for AMD AM5 / AM4 / FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 CPUs.
The height of the heat sink allows good clearance on both sides of the heatsink, which means you can mount the CPU cooler without having to worry about the height of the RAM, or the size the heatsinks on the Mosfet/VRMs of the motherboard.
The included MF120 Halo White ARGB cooling fans does a great job of cooling the heatsink without being too noisy. It feature a Rifle Bearing rotor and a hybrid fan blade design, giving you a maximum air flow of 51.8 CFM, and a low noise level of around 27 dBA.
We couldn’t find a MSRP for the Cooler Master Hyper 622 HALO White CPU Air Cooler, but expect to pay around USD $90 when it becomes available. You can buy something similar – the Cooler Master Hyper 212 HALO White for around USD $48 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3LRBz63

For all those who’s been looking for an all-white CPU air cooler for their white-themed PC builds … your prayers have been answered. The Cooler Master Hyper 622 HALO White CPU Air Cooler not only looks great, but offers decent enough cooling performance at a price that’s pretty attractive.
